I just had a conversation with someone about this on Lemmy a few days ago. His response was to call the choice “modern identity politics” and then back up his point by saying he always chose the female choice in games if he could. As if he did it from any belief that women are strong and capable and didn’t just want to see a woman on his screen. And the comment reeks of “I’m not racist! I have a black friend!” vibes.

Anyway he ended up saying Lemmy was just like Reddit and… oh, now he’s in a different thread aggravating people and saying the same thing that Lemmy is intolerant.

• Minecraft/7 Days to Die/Valheim - I can create my own world and story
• OpenTTD - so much rail transport
• Civ4 - so many mods (Fall From Heaven makes it a great fantasy game)

I played a lot back when it came out. I picked up the DLC on release day and reset my progress. Such a good game. Even when I’m not playing (like now) I’m thinking and reading up on strategies.

Because I already bought the game. Why should I have to pay more based on where I play it? That’s ridiculous. If I buy it, I should be able to play it how and where I want.

Yikes, kinda expensive on mobile. I already repackaged it from my Steam copy and side-loaded it on to my phone so I’ll stick with that. It would be nice if I could keep my progress from one to the other though.

Exactly. Making Edge my default browser is opt-in too, but that doesn’t stop them from bugging me about it regularly or switching it any time they think they can.

I’m loving Linux Mint since I switched. It’s nice to have an operating system that isn’t trying to subvert my choices every day.
