That’s why I started setting Firefox as the default browser on my family’s phones. They were too annoyed by ads and almost got scammed once. With Firefox and uBlock Origin it’s like magic for them. Plus they don’t visit any non-mainstream websites so they’ll never encounter such a screen.

Why did people stop using notepads (actual physical ones) for this? No digital storage, no leaks. Besides, after a couple of times you get the muscle memory of typing in the passwords anyway.

No, that was on older software. On the latest ones you simply cannot use gestures with 3rd party launchers. My brother has one and I’ve tried it.

It’s absurd, yes, but nothing new. Many of the kids at my own school are leaning to the far right, without ever stopping and wondering if it even profits them. All they see are a couple of Instagram reels and hear “global leader” and “country’s decade” and decide they’ll follow the government blindly even if the most harm will be done to them.
