You don’t have to tell the truth to speak well, nor would it be difficult to beat Biden’s lyrical performance.

TBH with how Obama treated Netanyahu versus Trump admin backing single state solution: I bet the war on the Gaza Strip wouldn’t be happening, either. Not at the same scale, at least.
Trumps a better speaker but he’s been eating Mickey D’s for the last 65 years, an age difference of 3 years is not a huge advantage.
For a second I thought that little thumbnail image was bookshelf loss but the order is wrong.

One of those “Vote for me because I’m not my opponent” moments.
I am pretty sure there was an FBI Raid for Michael Flynn awhile back. Ironically he was on social media saying “Come and Get Me, Libs!” And then registered Republican voter Robert Mueller came and got him.
I think education alone curbs population growth towards negatives, and that policies can easily decrease population growth far into the negative, as many modern nations have illustrated. Mass casualties aren’t realistic or necessary.
For future readers, the quote in this comment is from GOP Representative Perry who was then immediately proven wrong by Buttigieg.
For me, the most egregious example was huggies diapers increasing prices while production costs went down.
Even if it somehow were true in his magical alternative fact reality, him saying this doesn’t help his numbers lol…
It was an act passed by congress and signed by a sitting president. Biden alone doesn’t have the authority to change it, and if he did try that then it would be caught up in courts for years.
I wasn’t arguing with you, just building on it.
I know very little, honestly it’s hard to ever really capture all the nuance, but I do recall having conversations about white supremacist movements in Bolivia with ties to a news corporation operating out of Washington DC, which led some to speculate it was primed for a coup by the CIA during the Trump administration or even earlier. Bolivia elected its first indigenous president Morales, but they were ousted in 2019.
So it seems pretty easy to pick a side, at least from a glance, but there is more we don’t know going on than we do.
TBF, after the 2020 election they were faced with issues like budget reconciliation and debt limit (without which nothing would be voted on at all during a government shutdown) as well as reimplementing some of the many regulations taken down by the Trump admin and finally passing a 1.9 Trillion Dollar infrastructure deal alongside a new round of stimulus checks (which the receiving states decided how to use, sadly), and many congressional hearings about corruption of the former administration and federal judges (which ultimately hasn’t lead anywhere other than referrals to the DOJ).
So in the 2 year span that they held 48 + 2 senate seats and house majority, they were pretty tied up I would say.
EDIT: Plus, it would’ve been filibustered anyways.
A while back, HR 1 For the People Act promised to remedy much of the issue but it never got a vote in the senate because Republicans held the Senate Speaker until the next congress was formed.
Well no, it’s better for the politician’s campaign’s wallets. If people could spend campaign funds however they wanted then Donald Trump would have quite a few less pending felonies.
Let that be a lesson.
Rivian comes off as a tech bro startup that has talked a big game but produced poor results, they’ve been advertising autonomous self driving since like 2015 or earlier. After shipments started, so did layoffs.
VW has a long history of reliable manufacturing to high standards in Europe. They’ve had executives make claims that they would overtake Tesla as the world’s largest electric car company by 2025. Obviously, VW has been lagging hard on EV and won’t reach that goal, but if I had to pick a favorite car company it’s between them and maybe JEEP or KIA.
Mixed feelings, I like VW but I don’t really like Rivian.
Not to mention, it’s basically the same debate we had four years ago.
