I’d like to know, too. Especially considering most servers I’m on are unlikely to switch.

“human animals”… reminiscent of “Untermenschen”.
What exactly is the “truth” in that zero effort meme?
That’s like Vito Corleone complaining about bugs in his office.
Good thing I’m using Firefox.
Instead of reposting it here, you link to a corpo website.
What kind of pirate are you? LOL
I’ve been on sh.itjust.works since day one of my Lemmy existence, because shit just works.
It also doesn’t overdo it with defeds (beehaw) and isn’t run by tankies (lemmy.ml) or nazis (exploding-heads).
Hope he gets asylum.
Trusting the Crazy Hatter isn’t helping the issue, though, lol.
Mainstream media is probably smart enough stay clear of obvious conspiracy theories. Bad for business.
Yep, happened a few times to me, too.
I got accounts on lemm.ee, sh.itjust.works and kbin.social. I had one on .world in the beginning, but the performance wasn’t great. Probably too many users.
As I see it, Ukraine has the most experienced defence force in Europe. Bringing them in would be a huge boon, and not only militarily.
Not even gonna read there anymore. Any sort of traffic they get, anonymously or not, helps the company.
You’re a bit quick there. Not only has the Ukrainian counteroffensive not “failed to break through” (they broke through several frontlines), Putin is hardly in any danger (yet). What’s good about this incident is that Russia now has internal problems to worry about that help take off pressure from Ukraine.
I originally intended to uninstall RIF and only use (old) Reddit (with RES) on my browser at the end of June, but these additional changes make it look like they’re desperate for money, and old.reddit won’t stay alive for much longer, anyway.
So I bit the bullet, got settled on Lemmy and Mastodon and really like it.
The very idea behind the fediverse is the “old school internet” I experienced back in the late 90’s, when people were still idealistic and thought the net would bring us freedom. What happened instead was the commercialisation of everything, algorithms to optimise engagement and attention, data collection and sales, the global spread of outrage peddling and fake news, and ultimately, the total sellout of twitter and Reddit. Late stage capitalism.
I’m here to stay.
Definitely needed.
