At least in this case it’s not America’s but Britain’s fault. I primarily blame the small arms industry in Birmingham! :)

I think both approaches seem to be driven by generalization based on personal ideology. The truth is that for some people open relationships are traumatizing and toxic, while for others they are just what they need to be happy, then there are also people who can enjoy poly and mono forms of relationships. There is no general rule, it simply depends on individual preference.
Give then a Nobel Prize!
I really do not care how you feel about it at all. I do care about reducing pollution though. The only infuriating thing here is your childish egoism.
Quote and sauce or it did not happen …
I think you completely missed the point. The relevant question is not if there are better ways to reduce one’s negative impact (because obviously there are) and also not if Ecosia is perfect (because obviously it is not). The relevant question is how much environmental damage using Ecosia does compared to using other search engines and how good the search results are.
In a wider sense, just by shopping in the supermarket or owning a cellphone, you are participating in worldwide exploitation and mass murder.
Apparently, Christians are not the only ones who lack basic knowledge about the history of Jesus …
That almost sounds like an agent provocateur, surely the police would never use such an insidious tactic, would they?

Why do people downvote this? Did they not read the (quite short) article?
Oh they do care, just in the wrong way …
Downvotes for agreeing? 🤦
Sure, why not.
Can you promise that every internal surface is covered? Completely? And will remain so?
I guess that is a rhetorical question? The obvious thing to do would be sending a water sample to a lab and get it tested for lead, which is much cheaper than replacing all lead pipes based on just a suspicion. If you got old lead pipes and the test comes back negative you know for sure that all surfaces are covered in calcium carbonate.
Replacing all poisonous, permanently brain damaging lead pipes should be a no brainer
Only if the water in fact has lead in it, which often is not the case with old pipes, as I explained.
From what I have heard the inside of old lead water pipes is usually covered in several layers of calcium carbonate, at least in areas with hard water, these layers prevent the water from getting in contact with the lead. So if you live in an old house with lead pipes you do not need to panic. New lead pipes that lack this calcium carbonate layer are what is in fact dangerous to health and therefore should not be installed anymore.
Edit: Downvotes for stating facts that do not fit the popular narrative, really? Reddit moment …
There are a lot of colorful/plated glasses of that format, just don´t put them in the dishwasher because they are often not dishwasher safe (like the ones I had). Have fun!
