i thought you were using outdated connectors as a joke 😂

yeah but like, they most likely weren’t going “unga bunga, gurg want hunt mammoth, gurg make pointy stick, ook ook”
even on a less well-maintained system it’s probably not going to be the kernel having a freakout, the kernel is going to be just fine while something else shits itself (probably graphics drivers on a desktop tbh, my vega 10 loves to vomit onto the screen and pass out)
and even then you can at least buy some tippex to censor things, and if you want to get advanced i’m sure there are products that straight up remove the ink from the paper.
I know there are specific extra hard erasers for removing pen ink
worst part for me as a swede is that it ends up being interpreted to mean “neander speaker”, since “thal” becomse “tal” which means speech in swedish…
so not only is there the standard “neanderthals stupid and primitive” association, but also there’s the added layer of implication that they spoke weird!
or, you know, just put a black bar over it so the information is just completely gone from the image?
scribbling over is never going to actually work, the information is still there for anyone who wants to extract it. It’s like shouting over someone instead of just getting them to shut up.
have you ever considered not being a dick about things? You’re not the ultimate arbiter of what’s difficult, other people experience things differently and for me the constant hashtags and the way these people write most certainly makes the dense sections difficult to parse.
Do you just like, burst into flames when you encounter dyslexic people?
in swedish i think we’ve just gone from “fv” to “v”, somehow
very common example since it’s in old surnames: hufvud > huvud
lmao AI and crypto people are so predicable in their use of marketing language and hashtags, it astounds me that anyone can make sense of that word salad
peas were given to us by god almighty to just toss into any meal so that no one can have an excuse for not eating some kind of green vegetable.
literally like half of my diet is just frying some diced potatoes, onions, meat, and (undiced) frozen peas with some spices.
It’s called “pyttipanna” and is basically the nordic equivalent of fried rice, traditionally made from leftovers and these days i can just buy frozen packets of it (minus the peas) for extremely cheap.
I think of it as human kibble: i’m pretty sure it has every nutrient you need in a pretty decent balance, it’s cheap and trivial to prepare, and it’s so tasty that i can basically eat it every single day (though some variety is still nice, throw in some pickled beets and a fried egg every now and then at least)
if you really want to maximize your london experience you should rent a closet in a hallway for £5000 per month
and this is why i basically ignore online shopping except for a few things, it’s utter nonsense and almost certainly completely automated with chatgpt at this point, you might as well donate to the church and pray that god puts your desired item in the mail before sunday.
we cast unionization, using “strike” metamagic to raise the efficiency
me when i spread misinformation
unrelated to the OP but a suggestion for your problem:
Waveup has a setting to lock the screen after X seconds with the proximity sensor covered, it’s not very sophisticated and thus it can be a bit over-eager, but if the phone being interacted with by your leg while in the pocket is driving you up the wall then this should fix that.
i can assure you japan isn’t that much saner than the rest of us, like really the one big thing they have going for them is pretty good urban planning and public transport.
Where most nations have people working their asses off because they need money to buy food, japan made the innovation of having people work themselves to death mostly out of social obligation instead! Much more exciting.
and we know for a fact that most of these companies have dogshit IT security, doubtless at most of them the janitor can sign in with his corporate ID and access customer data without anyone noticing.
this made me realize how different learning is via lessons and immersion, i never had that experience when learning english since i did it by watching english media, it was just that one day it stopped being gibberish and started being language.
