  • Iunno, if someone I knew was involved in trafficking-victim advocacy efforts, then turned around and penned a letter in defense of a rapist who caught 30 to life, I’d suddenly be second-guessing said advocate’s bonafides, and double-checking them too. That’s too rowdy a lapse of judgment for me personally to let slide; and all the parasocial weirdos suddenly jumping to Kutcher’s aid when it’s well known he was a 20 year old with a tongue down a 14 year old’s throat on primetime television is equally as sketchy.

"‘Just trust Ashton Kutcher’ is terrible public policy.”

  • In a perfect more pleasant world

In a more pleasant world, America would’ve shuttered its surveillance apparatus and downcycled the embryonic military-industrial complex directly after World War 2, rather than being cartoonishly evil and inventing a new term for a ‘propaganda war’ with aim to snuff out the one system that presented clear opposition to the oligarchic tyranny of capital; then having a couple dozen courses of dessert stomping out every burgeoning society in the Global South looking to free themselves from the yoke. Instead, America wanted to rule the world; and thus, no one has been allowed to disarm.

Because the death cult won’t come to its senses.

That’s probably a war that not a single shot would need to be fired in considering how much money the US owes China. How much US land is tied up in Chinese holdings. All it’d take would be a couple good, concerted waves of property dumping, or a staunch refusal to take on even more American debt, and we’re suddenly up a deeper creek than the one we’re already in. Collapse is coming, one way or another for the West; it’s just a question of how gracefully the mayonnaisians will fold.
